It’s not just manga, It’s Shonen Jump!

You might have grown up with anime and tried/tasted the likes of manga too. They often can go well together and open up a world of insight into all of your favorite franchises. Really though, the two are magical. I was always in the anime field and hardly touched the comic side with manga. I know the adaptations are from manga which can be adaptations of the light novel from where the story originally was crafted. I really only paid attention due to the actors giving the characters that I liked voices and emotions. I was hooked on this as a kid as many other were too. Toonami was the Cartoon Network anime spotlight that ran for a few hours a few days of the week. Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon are some of the anime that were played. Other channels ended up hosting more of these anime like 4Kids and this played on a local channel when I was growing up.

The point and to further the story in this post’s title, there is a type of anime/manga that houses some of the finest shows that you could ever watch with your two own eyes. This type is called Shonen Jump.

I wont get into the nitty gritty but there was a shop of this anime/manga in Tokyo and it was glorious. I was thrilled to see the representation of my childhood hero’s on the front store windows. The entire shop was interesting to the point of being unable to leave from joy. However, as you might already imagine, things were expensive and that can help with the diturent of getting out of a store or location. This time, well yeah.. this time it did just that. Others including myself, did not have the dough to drop for a 50 dollar t-shirt of yugioh and that’s okay.

The store was not one of a kind and showcased Goku, Naruto, and others from different franchises. Little gotcha items and big backpacks with hats were all over the place. Stickers and pins to fill anyone’s personal collection. I have only the images that I took with the figurines from that day and those figures move, literally. The upcoming days would prove to show that. They were removed from the store to fill another location. Neat I suppose.

Enjoy the shows, the comics, the literature while buying the gear at a sale price from…Hot Topic? Maybe? Well, if you get the chance then step into the shop and take it all in at the very least. It was pretty thrilling.
