So the adventure continues! This time, we are further away and on foot running to the mall of Toshima City. This was the Sunshine Mall, from what we could gather on media. It was a train away but wasn’t easy to get to on foot. I remember having a construction scene or two while navigating there and that made everything really hard. After achy feet, backs, and heads… we walked into this mall with minds open.

Inside was plenty, but this story will focus on the Pokémon center. It was the second floor and easily one of the bigger hotspots of the location. We were crunched on time too, so this was in the back of our minds as well.

When we reached it, it was magnificent and nothing short of awesome. As an avid fan for life and starting my Pokémon adventure with Red and Blue back with the gameboys, this was something out of this world. The noise, music, and overflowing eye candy of the store was just intoxicating. We went in and explored.

The merchandise was top tier and high quality. We weren’t at a Walmart anymore. The price tag came along with this quality of merch too. I was not concerned and considered this a pinnacle moment of the Japan trip. I would be smart, but buy…more than I have at other stores by far. I came out with some Pokémon plushies and accessories. No regrets. I would like to see a part two to this visit in my near future (time of writing) as I could now make a bigger haul. We’ll see what the future holds.

But Wait! There is more!

Nothing in the rule book to say this was the final Pokémon location we visited! How foolish! In truth, we hit this store, the Sky Tree tower had a promo with Pokémon at the time of visit, and…. another store front that was in a train station!

Of course… I made out with more merchandise at these locations but I wanted this to be the definitive post on these Pokémon centers. They are here and there, the mall being the best but the side shops really hit a sweet spot when we weren’t expecting them. Remember the time crunch at the mall? Well, these other locations for Pokémon gear helped a LOT. Very cool and very fun. 10/10 would play again.
